Six years ago myself and a couple friends went into the wilderness of Idaho and attempted to make a horror film to be entitled, "Cliché". For 5 days, I mean nights we shot what was to be my magnum opus of low budget horror. Following in the footsteps of the great Sam Raimi, combined with my knowledge of bad movies, and naivety of how to make films we were high with optimism, and drunk on vodka....and beer.
With no budget and far too much binge drinking the results were less than stellar. In fact when we got back to the editing room there was no movie to be made. Four mini-dv tapes and hours of time couldn't piece together even the slightest plot. The whole thing was devastatingly bad. Crushed with defeat, the digitized film clips sat on my hardrive for years.
Cut to: Thanksgiving weekend 2007. While visiting my friend and actor/producer of the infamous horror movie attempt, in L.A. we decided to cut a trailer of our long forgotten film.
